I’ve owned the music plugs for years. Recently the bands I’m in are not as loud as where I used to play. More dynamics, mostly acoustic big bands. And pretty open venues.
The music plugs at 32dB were too quiet. I couldn’t hear the leader talk and make changes on the fly.
A quick email to the great team here recommended the 19dB plugs. They work great. I hear what I need but don’t get blasted. Forgot to put them in at the second set and wow what a difference.
Great fit. Comfortable. Not noticeable.
Don't think about it. This is the hearing protection to get.
